Coronavirus is an emerging public health emergency. Human-to-human transmission has been confirmed but more information is needed to evaluate the full extent of this mode of transmission.
On 12 February 2020, the novel coronavirus was named severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) while the disease associated with it is now referred to as COVID-19.
On 11th march 2020, WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic.
In my previous 2 videos on coronavirus I have discussed about symptoms, transmission, diagnosis and also measures to be taken for prevention of COVID 19.
Now, in this video, I have discussed about clinical management and the treatment options available.
No specific treatment for COVID-19 is currently available.
Some drugs are under investigation and are being used for the treatment of COVID 19 which I have discussed in this video.
