Second International Symposium for One Health Research, China
The Second International Symposium for One Health Research, China will take place from 23-24 November in Guangzhou, which will also offer a wide variety of opportunities for students and young researchers including presentation of their work, and scientific networking.
The ISOHR is an international meeting that aims to promote human, animal and environmental health through the interdisciplinary ‘One Health’ approach to collaborative research in both China and neighboring countries. It also seeks to foster the development of student and early career researchers interested in One Health through international research collaborations and information-sharing. This symposium aims to facilitate a shared understanding of transdisciplinary synergies and multi-sectoral collaboration within and between countries to tackle the growing threats of both emerging zoonotic infectious diseases and related issues across six broad themes:

- Emerging infectious diseases and One Health
- Antimicrobial resistance
- Food safety
- Environmental health
- Biosecurity/health security
- Governance and policy (including the International Health Regulations)
Call for abstracts
The ISOHR is an international meeting seeking to promote interdisciplinary One Health research in China and neighboring countries, through the establishment of international research collaborations and the development of student and early career researchers in One Health.
The Symposium will occur November 23-24 in Guangzhou, China. We ask that you plan to submit an abstract regarding your One Health activities by the deadline of October 30, 2019. We hope your abstract will focus upon One Health research via an e-mail to our secretariat office: onehealthno2@163.com.
