Renal Trauma or RENAL Injury Study notes for Exam Renal trauma is due to- Minor injuries- blunt trauma (RTA, falls, assaults & sporting injuries) Major injuries – penetrating trauma (knife or gunshot wounds) Blunt trauma is much more common than penetrating trauma.
